Kidney Stone

kidney stone is formed when the mineral and salt content in your urine is high. They are usually hard deposits and there is an increasing incidence of this condition. Causes of kidney stones include improper diet, obesity, heredity, certain supplements and medications, inadequate water intake, and irregular bladder

emptying. Symptoms associated with renal calculi can be variable from no symptoms to sharp pain in your back, lower abdomen, or groin region, blood in

your urine, nausea, vomiting, fever, chills, or urine that smells bad or looks cloudy.

People who are at higher risk of developing renal calculi are persons with a family history of renal calculi, obese, eating a diet high in sodium, and those who had previously undergone gastric surgery.

Drinking a lot of water is the first line of treatment for Kidney stones however if the stone still does pass out then surgery is recommended ( lithotripsy, PCNL surgery) i.e when the stone is too large or is causing difficulty in passing urine.

At our clinic, we provide you with painless procedures with a very high success rate.
